Hotel Fontebella - Assisi

I had an amazing experience here! The amazing view from my room was lovely, and the restaurant's five-course meal was delicious. I couldn't get enough of the cozy atmosphere, which. I would definitely return!

Clean and GORGEOUS place with absolutely kind staff at the reception desk and dining room. Free breakfast with meat and juice and magnificent location. Pretty close to the airport, 20 km. Private parking in front of the hotel provided. The easy check-in.

It was in a particularly good location with magnificent views over the valley. The restaurant was superior for dinner, I tried tasty dishes👍

the situation was optimal for assisi the breakfast was ok too

when we arrived, the lady gave us the room key at our request for a room with a view of the level when we entered the room was not yet newly prepared, so we have reported this to the lady from the reception they take care of it immediately in 10 minutes the room would be ready for occupancy. ok that can happen. after about 25 minutes we asked again with the answer she would have to check it. in the meantime we sat at the bar and ordered a coffee. at first there was no one to serve us. to our surprise the lady wrote the coffee on the receipt to be paid, which we actually considered very surprising after this treatment. some time later our contact person had disappeared. there was a change in the staff, without any change in our situation. the concierge on duty immediately took care of our affairs, after i spoke to him and told him that he apologized, a short time later our room was ready for occupancy. afterwards everything was fine, except for the receptionist who acted very superficially.

The bathroom could use significant rethinking, almost claustrophobic with awkward design!!! Air conditioning seems to think it's a one-size-fits-all system, leaving rooms unexpectedly sweltering or chilly!!!

The central location and the helpfullness of the staff. I also liked the large sitting room off the lobby.

The location was excellent and the availability of parking at the hotel was perfect, particularly since it is Assissi. The facilities are quite old but certainly adequate for a family.

We visited the nearby basilica and hiked the beautiful hills. The restaurant's five-course dinner was a highlight, and the views from our room were fine. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending local spots.

The bathroom layout was quite cramped. The tub should really be replaced with a walk-in shower for better convenience.

The room was small, but nice, with a beautiful view. Location in the heart of walled-town Assisi is wonderful. Excellent restaurant.

We stayed for 4 nights in a Classic Double Room with Valley View and really loved the local cuisine served in the restaurant and the stunning scenery from our room. It was super nice to relax on the sun terrace and enjoy some time in the peaceful garden area. The breakfast could've used a bit more variety, but overall, we had a fantastic time—definitely try the local wines! 🍷

The room was elegant and convenient. The staff was really helpful. The public spaces were comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

It was right in the middle of Assisi. Great location. Spectacular view of the valley an countryside. Room had a small balcony. Very clean and quiet. Nice reception staff. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast. Great deal. I would recommend this hotel to others.
